Weekday Sketch Shindig #1: Friday

Ah, and so as the sun must set on a perfect day, so must this first Weekday Sketch Shindig come to a close.  Beautiful, isn't it?  Well, in my opinion at least, I saved the best for last.  I went through this phase, (hah, who says I'm over it?), where I would get paper out of extreme boredom and make cootie catchers and insane doodles and what I would pass as a paper airplane...  Good times.  I wish I could say I know how to make paper dolls, but I don't.  Still, I love them, and my making-things-with-paper days inspired me to create a paper doll dress.  Enjoy!

Weekday Sketch Shindig #1: Monday

I decided, with my numerous number of unrevealed sketches, that I would have my first ever Weekday Sketch Shindig.  I will be posting one sketch each day!  This one is from a long while back, and I can't take full credit.  The shape of the body is a pre-drawn outline from a fashion design kit I received for my birthday one year.  Before the kit, my sketches were a wee shapeless.  This outfit is one of my favorites.  No joke.  It's purty legit. ;D  The purse is kind of difficult to see because of the color, but it's a giant rose that fades into a little circle (I suppose you might describe it as such).  ¡Hasta mañana!
